An Evening With Lindiwe Maxolo

Lindiwe Maxolo holds an honours degree in Jazz Music (Cum Laude) from the University of Cape Town. In 2002 she won the Afro Vocal category at the Old Mutual Jazz Encounters Competition.

The talented singer released her debut album, Time in 2012. This release secured her a nomination for the Best Jazz Album at the 2013 South African Music Awards (SAMAs), Best African Jazz Album at the 2014 South African Traditional Music Awards (SATMAs) and Best Creative Album of the Year at the 2014 Wawela Music Awards.

She has also won the Women in Jazz category at the 2014 Mbokodo Awards. Maxolo will be joined by celebrated musicians Sibongile Khumalo, Gloria Bosman and Lwanda Gogwana.
