Schubert at the Baxter with Gustavo Romero

When violinist Alexander Gilman is not touring the world himself he, and his pianist wife Marina, is passionately involved in a mentorship programme for young talented musicians. When he performed for the Concert Series last February, a plan was hatched to return with an ensemble of 12 young musicians in order that they can share in the special experience of visiting and touring in South Africa, and they have spent 2019 tirelessly fundraising for this tour.
