Once a Drakie, always a Drakie! Come and support the Drakensberg Old Boys as they perform a variety of numbers in true Drakie spirit. The performers include old boys who have attended Drakies over the past fifty-eight years, along with current Drakie parents, all coming together for what promises to be a festive concert.
The KZN Youth Orchestra will join the Drakensberg Boys Choir to perform well-known choral works. Under the baton of Lykele Temmingh, the orchestra will explore various genres, such as Baroque, Romantic, movie scores, and pop music. The programme will conclude with the Drakensberg Boys Choir performing Rutter’s ‘Magnificat’, which celebrates Mediterranean vibrancy and reflects the lively festivals honouring the Virgin Mary, and features energetic rhythms and strong melodies.
