The James Sedgwick Distillery in Wellington, the only commercial whisky distillery in Africa, is proud to re-open their doors to the public. Witness first-hand how South African whisky is crafted through the various stages of the process from raw material to distillation and maturation in a place deemed unfit for whisky making, and enjoy tasting and pairing our globally awarded range of whiskies.
Strict COVID-19 protocols will be in place to ensure the safety of our staff and our guests. Upon arrival guests will enter through the main security gate for screening and completion of a COVID-19 register. Wearing of a face mask at all times is mandatory.

Adhering to minimum social distancing of 1.5m Wearing of face masks at all times (no mask no entry) Making use of sanitising stations available Avoid interaction with distillery staff as far as possible. Try to avoid touching infection hot zones whilst on tour e.g. railings. Cashless transactions are encouraged.
