Following the success of last year’s HEROES Gala Concert, the Peninsula School Feeding Association (PSFA) is thrilled to announce the HEROES II Gala Concert at Artscape on Wednesday, 27 November 2024.
This musical event aims to raise awareness of child hunger and generate vital funds to support PSFA's mission of eradicating hunger in schools across the Western Cape.
This year's concert will once again feature internationally acclaimed opera and musical theatre singer Lana English, alongside a diverse group of local talents, promising a rich blend of voices and performances.
Sian Atterbury will deliver soulful renditions of popular musicals, while Loren Erasmus will add her unique touch, ensuring an evening rich in emotion and musicality.
Moe-Ain Daniels's captivating performance and Victor Siljeur’s melodic baritone are set to deeply resonate with the audience, while Faried Swartz’ charismatic presence will add an extra layer of charm to the concert.
Sienna Jayne D’Oliveira’s debut with “Tomorrow” from Annie is a fantastic choice for showcasing hope and resilience, and Izzy Gomez’s innovative contemporary dance will introduce a fresh and dynamic element to the evening.
The Masikhule Community Orchestra, dedicated to music education and cultural diversity, will join forces with the vibrant Constantia Primary School Choir and one of Cape Town's oldest and best-loved choral groups the Philharmonia Choir of Cape Town.
Under the direction of Regina Malan, a visionary in the music industry, this Gala concert promises an unforgettable musical journey.
