Khaya Mahlangu & Salim Washington Quintet

Jazz Xpressions and Amid Jamz present a special collaboration between two jazz giants. Both Salim and Bra Khaya have performed with greats such as Moses Taiwa Molelekwa, Pharaoh Sanders, Bra Hugh Masekela, and Joe Bonner, to name a few, and eventually became leaders in their own settings.

At this event, they will be performing some of their classic compositions, new material, and both South African & American standards.

Red wine, coffee, tea, and baked goods will be served, supplied by Nev’s Bakes.
The event will be held in an indoor environment, seating will be situated in a manner that adheres to covid 19 regulations. A sanitizing station will be available at the entrance.
