St Matthew Passion by JS Bach - Cancelled

Con Spirito Philharmonic presents one of the most majestic among hundreds of JS Bach’s sacred works, his St Matthew Passions, on Saturday, 4 April 2020, at Uitsig DRC, Mountain View Drive in Ridgeworth, Bellville, starting at 18h30.

In the true spirit of Easter, a complimentary light Passover meal and a glass of wine will be served during the somewhat lengthened interval.

With a Baroque orchestra conducted by Sjoerd Alkema, and soloists: Willem Bester, Louis Howlett, Lente Louw, Arthur Swan and Conroy Scott, among others, this promises to be an experience not to be missed especially as the text will be visible on Powerpoint in both German and English during the entire performance.
