Offered as a continuation of the popular Summer School course Poetry as Memorable Speech: Close Readings of Five Famous Poems, this series of weekly seminars presents twelve poems in a way that argues for their greatness and memorability. The course, which runs over ten weeks, teaches the lay reader how to get to grips with a poem more thoroughly. Thursdays 5.00 pm – 6.00 pm. Copies of the poems will be provided. Course ends Thursday 6 June.
