Ten years after winning the Brett Goldin Bursary Award and after receiving critical acclaim for his solo play, Itsoseng, the heartbreaking story of life in Itsoseng township will be retold by Lesedi Job with a cast of seven actors.Itsoseng is a powerful and poignant portrayal of Mawilla’s reminiscences about his life in the township from the moment he fell in love with his childhood sweetheart, to his involvement in the looting and burning down of the shopping centre, to his determination to stay in the place he calls home with the hopes of seeing it restored to its former glory and the sad realisation that possibly all hope is lost for the people of Itsoseng.
