`Moving Shakespeare` Colloquium

The Market Theatre Laboratory in partnership with WITS Centre for Indian Studies and WITS English Department present Moving Shakespeare.

A colloquium of talks, workshops and performances reflecting on the ways in which Shakespeare ‘moves’.

With participants from South Africa and India, we focus on Shakespeare’s movement across the Indian Ocean and the Global South as well as his work as expressed in and through movement from Afrofusion contemporary dance to classical Indian Kathakali and Odissi.
