ECHOES OF TIME

Anchored Sound will be collaborating with fellow healers, seekers, and alchemists such as Linda Sikhakhane, Ndabo Zulu, Nduduzo Makhathini, Mbuso Khoza, and The Theatreduo; on a quest to give distinctly South African stories a voice through theatre and orchestral music. Thus allowing for our stories to have a seat at the proverbial table.

The concept of young black storytellers in the arts is a means through which black African storytellers can distribute or share their craft while preserving the essence of a distinctly African narrative.

This group of creative’s tackle narratives that evoke spirit, history, and indigenous knowledge.
