Celebrate With Platform Jazz

On Sunday September 1st, Durban’s Swing band Platform Jazz in collaboration with Friends of Music will present a jazz extravaganza to celebrate 30 years of music making. Formed by Cathy Peacock in 1989 to play for the Rovos Rail, Platform Jazz has gone on to play at a several events around KZN.

PlatformJazz presents their best loved tunes with current and past members. The show features leader Cathy Peacock on trumpet, Duncan Wooldridge on trombone, Kirsten Sayers and Ian Holloway on clarinet, Jeff Robinson and Jeff Judge on flute and sax, Andreas Kappen on bass, Bruce Baker on kit, Melvin Peters and Christopher Duigan on piano, and Shelly McLean, Bryan Hiles & Natalie Rungan on vocals
