This year’s season celebrates Anton Chekhov’s work in Afrikaans (Die Kersieboord directed by Sandra Temmingh) and in English (The Bear and The Proposal directed by Chris Weare).
The multi award-winning theatre collective, The Mechanicals, have set out over the past 5 years to present, to a general public, classics from the repertoire of world drama; allowing a new generation of theatre makers and theatre audiences the privilege of engaging with past master craftsmen.
